THE SCHUYLKILL ARSENAL
Quality Reproductions for the Serious Living Historian
I began Civil War reenacting in 1993 at the age of 13, and quickly identified myself with the "hardcore" element of the hobby. I quickly progressed into World War One and World War Two reenacting. I entered the United States Army in May 2003 as a 2nd Lieutenant of Engineers. I served two combat tours in Iraq with Alpha Company, 40th Engineer Battalion(Combat)(Mechanized): in Baghdad in 2004, and in Ramadi in 2006. I left the Army honorably in May 2007 with the rank of Captain.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in History from Vanderbilt University, and am currently completing a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Schiller International University in Heidelberg, Germany. My main area of historical interest is the German/Russian conflict of 1941-1945. However my background, having been raised in Maryland, has left deep historical roots in the Civil War Era.
My business philosophy: All my work is based off of historical research learned as a trained historian. All fabrics used are of the highest quality available from the most renowned manufacturers in the hobby. Patterns and markings are all based off original garments. Although I try to keep prices as low as possible, no corners are cut in the attempt to make the garment as accurate a reproduction as possible. Customer service is a priority of mine as well. I will communicate with you throughout the entire ordering process to ensure a smooth transaction. I look forward to serving you, and please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions!
