UNITED STATES ARMY ISSUE SHIRT
No Federal living historian's impression is complete without an issue shirt. Issued by the millions during the War, this shirt was a common and uncomfortable fact of Army life. This shirt is patterned from an original in the Smithsonian collection.
Made from County Cloth domet flannel, the Schuylkill Arsenal's reproduction issue shirt features flat felled seams and tin-backed tin buttons. An inspector's stamp completes the garment. Please note that this shirt comes in issue size only. This shirt will fit individuals with up to a 17 inch neck and a 42 inch chest.
